I’ve had a great honour to design a series of book covers for Emily Wilde series by Heather Fawcett. The brief was to design a highly decorative, art nouveau inspired cover, with a sinister and wintery twist, to depict the content of the book. The only restriction given was to have no faeries on the cover.

Continuing the same creative concept for the book 2 of the Emily Wilde series. With this concept, we are explored different layouts, illustration motifs and colours to maintain the look of the series consistent, yet different than book 1. We tweaked the lettering a bit, to ensure the legibility of Otherlands. The original letterforms were making it hard to read because it is an obscure word.
